Wendy Anderson’s paintings and works on paper are derived from a close examination of natural forms - leaves, grasses, rocks, snow crystals- which are transmuted through a long examination of their structure and pattern into abstract works of great beauty and resonance.

Anderson describes her paintings as 'the recognition of the memories of visuals'. Mixing her own colours with pigments and linseed oil she achieves great vibrancy and luminescence within the surfaces of the canvas.
