SHARON HALL

Sharon Hall was born in 1954 in Darlington, UK. She trained at Lanchester Polytechnic and the Slade School of Fine Art, where she was awarded the Jeremy Cubbitt Painting Prize and the Sir James Knott Scholarship in 1981. In 1990 she was chosen for a Rome Award in Painting at the British School at Rome. Hall has exhibited through-out the UK and Europe, including solo exhibitions at Todd Gallery, London (1989); Artist of the Day Angela Flowers Gallery, London (1990); Castlefield Gallery, Manchester (1993); Union Street Gallery (1995) and Palazzo del Podesta Pescia, Italy (2013). Her work is held in the collections of Artsite, New York, USA; Barclays Bank, London; Heathrow Airport, London; Norton Rose, London; Prudential Collection, New Jersey, USA.
