That Which Appears: James Fisher

That Which Appears at Sid Motion Gallery, co-curated by James Fisher and Olivia Bax, is a cross generational exhibition that explores the window as a site of perception, memory and meditation. Bringing together works by contemporary artists including Lucy Gunning, Charles Hewlings, Milly Peck and Mike de Silva with historical figures James Gowan, John Hejduk, Louis Kahn and Mies van der Rohe, the exhibition considers the window as both a literal and psychological threshold: between interior and exterior, self and world, presence and reflection.

Small Wonders: Denise de Cordova

Mandy Bonnell is among 17 artists featured in the group exhibition Collateral Drawing: A Living Archive, curated by Beaston Projects at APT Gallery, London. The project, now in its sixth iteration, places ‘collateral’ material from the artists’ studios, alongside their finished works to reveal the sources, decisions, revisions, intuitions and accidents through which an art work comes into being.
